Seraphina is in urgent need of a foster placement where she can decompress and begin to feel safe again. She is an extremely fearful and under socialized dog who is struggling heavily in the shelter environment. Due to her fear, she can be evasive, scream when frightened, show her teeth, and may bite if she feels cornered or pressured into interaction. She also urinates when scared, showing just how overwhelmed she is.
Seraphina needs a patient, experienced foster willing to let her move at her own pace without expectations. Building trust with her will take time, consistency, and understanding, but giving her a calm environment outside of the shelter could make all the difference in helping her learn that people can be safe.
Right now, Seraphina doesn’t need perfection — she just needs someone willing to give her the chance to feel secure and start healing emotionally.
