Meet Shania — a 1-year-old sweetheart with the softest eyes and an even softer heart. This beautiful girl came into our care through an adoption program and has quickly shown everyone just how loving she truly is.
Shania enjoys being around other dogs and has done well meeting new canine friends, participating in both rough-and-rowdy and gentle playgroups while happily exploring the yard. She’s social, curious, and always ready to say hello!
But more than anything, Shania loves people. She’s the kind of dog who just wants to be near her humans, soaking up affection and companionship whenever she can. Shelter life has started to become overwhelming for her, and she’s beginning to show signs of stress from being in such a noisy, unfamiliar environment. Even with tasty cheese bribery, getting her harness on has become harder, and she’ll paw and lick at the door just hoping someone she loves is nearby.
Shania doesn’t need perfection — she just needs a place where she can finally exhale. A foster or forever home would give this sweet girl the chance to decompress, feel safe again, and show everyone the happy, loving companion she’s meant to be.
