Be part of a dedicated team that helps cats find loving homes in the heart of our community! Our Off-Site Event Volunteers support the SPCA of Texas by providing compassionate cat care, assisting adopters, and sharing our mission at local partner locations.

 

Volunteer Opportunities:

• General Cat Care Volunteers go daily to provide general care (cleaning, feeding, watering, & interacting) of the cats, while adoption counseling volunteers interact with the cats & potential adopters.
• Adoption Counseling Volunteers learn how to counselor potential adopters about the cat’s behavior & general medical history to make sure it is a good match for both the person & the cat.

 

Commitment Requirements:

• Same day/time each week for at least two months
