Paprika is a beautiful 2-year-old girl looking for a quiet, patient foster home where she can finally relax and feel safe. While she may be shy with new people, those who know her describe her as an independent cat who enjoys simply sharing a room with her favorite humans. She previously had access to a catio and loved having a peaceful space to observe the world around her.
The shelter has been very overwhelming for Paprika, and her stress has made it difficult for our medical team to provide routine care like vaccines and deworming. Rather than acting aggressively, Paprika’s first instinct is to hide or run away. She needs a calm home where she can decompress and let her true personality shine.
Paprika would do best with a foster who understands that trust takes time. With patience, gentle interactions, and a quiet environment, we believe she’ll become much more comfortable and show the sweet companion she can be.
