Yes, like that Artemis - the fierce and fabulous goddess of the hunt. But don't worry, this 3-year-old shepherd mix isn't out chasing wild game... the only thing she's hunting for is a forever home! Artemis is a total sweetheart with energy for days when it's time to hit the trail (or just go for a walk). She'll happily be your jogging partner, nature explorer, or enthusiastic leash companion. When it comes to playgroup with other dogs, though? She's more of a chill queen. Artemis prefers to keep to herself, but she coexists beautifully with her fellow canines - no drama, just peace. Could this graceful girl be the newest member of your pantheon?
Borrow a Buddy Notes: Artemis did amazing in the car on the way to our house. She was immediately comfortable snuggling with my kids in the backseat. Once at our house, she thoroughly enjoyed the backyard and immediately loved our dog. They chased each other and when it was time to come inside she came as soon as I called for her. She had a bath and did fantastic! Afterwards he had no problem with my daughter brushing her. Something wonderful that I learned about her is that she has zero issues with cats! She did not chase our family cat, they just touched noses and she went on her way. She also heard the kitten that we are fostering crying and lay right next to my daughter who was holding it on the couch. At bedtime she fell right asleep with my kids in bed. She is such a sweet dog and so deserving of an amazing family to call her own.
