If you are looking for a pup that will be your sidekick for every hike, walk or stroll he is your guy. We started the day with a 2 mile hike at cedar hill preserve. Arlo was very courteous to other people on the trail, wagged his tail at them when they passed, but other than that did not pay them a lot of mind. He already knows "sit" and seems very trainable. We hopped in the car where he loved sticking his head out the window (on slow streets) and feeling the wind flap his ears. He stayed in the back seat and laid down nicely when we started moving faster. We then went to a coffee shop where he was very excited about his pup cup. He was completely focused. He walked, sniffed all the good stuff. Not everything, just those things that must have been special. I say that because he didn't sniff every blade of grass. It was nice to be able to stroll. He noticed humans and dogs but was for the most part oblivious. He walked well on the leash. He was aware of me and my location at all times. He paid attention to leash clues and followed simple commands that I wouldn't expect him to know necessarily. "This way", "stop" (before crossing the street) and he stayed still while I untied him before exiting the car. They call him a senior but he is far from showing an resemblance to a senior. He completely walked me under the table. I kept up but I was ready to quit before he showed any sign of needing a break.
