As the most comprehensive animal welfare agency in North Texas, SPCA of Texas saves thousands of animals each year. Our lifesaving programs include adoption, foster care, animal cruelty investigations, wellness clinics, and spay/neuter services.

Russell H. Perry Pet Resource Center

The SPCA of Texas’ Russell H. Perry Pet Resource Center provides temporary support to pet owners in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex who are experiencing financial hardship and are at risk of having to surrender their pets.

PROGRAM IMPACT

Southern Dallas Initiative

From 2016 through 2022, the SPCA of Texas collaborated with private funders, Spay Neuter Network and other animal-focused non-profit organizations to increase access to spay-neuter and improve public safety for key areas in Dallas. The Southern Dallas Initiative also provided pet education, pet resources and enhanced access to veterinary care for neighbors living in 23 Dallas zip codes.
