ABOUT APOLLO: And the award for "Best in Ears" goes to...Apollo! Apollo is a goofy, loyal pup you see today!PERSONALITY: Apollo is a very charismatic guy and never forgets his friends. Once he's your bud, he loves you and is even willing to share his snacks or toys with you. LIKES: Apollo loves treats (even vegetables!), sunbathing, belly rubs, chasing squirrels, entertaining himself with toys, watching sports on TV, sleeping in all kinds of silly positions, and cuddling for nap time! SKILLS: Looking for a dog with great house manners? Apollo is house trained, does well when left alone, is non-destructive, knows how to entertain himself, and is a generally quiet and chill dude! IDEAL HOME: Apollo is looking for a home where he can be the only pet in the home - he wants his family all to himself! Apollo's home should have a private, securely fenced backyard. KIDS: I'd like my home to be 13+ and I need to meet kids 13-16 before going home. Please copy/paste this link to your browser to see more photos/videos of Apollo: https://bit.ly/3AbwJYoAPPOINTMENT TYPE: Scheduled. About Me: Hi there, my name is Cona! I know I am a hot mess. With my soft skin and all. But I gotta be cute, right? I am on my way to lose some weight because honestly aren't we all? I've spent time in a foster home and I occasionally ask them for pets or snuggles - it's always on my terms. Otherwise, I'm a really low maintenance and easy dog. I never bark, do fine when left alone, and go to the bathroom outside or will use pee pads if available. I love to sunbathe even though that means my foster parents have to spray doggy sunscreen on me first - yuck!HOME NEEDS: I need a calm, quiet home with a securely fenced yard. I'm still working on getting comfortable on leash and loud sounds make me nervous.DOGS: While I'm not a dog that actively tries to engage other dogs, I can peacefully coexist with calm doggos.KIDS: Adults Only, please.NOTE: I'm available for foster-to-adopt,so that the SPCA of Texas can provide medical and behavior support while I settle into a new home!COPY/PASTE for more cute pictures/videos of me: https://bit.ly/3wC66KlAPPOINTMENT TYPE: Scheduled. Please fill out an application to meet me!We also have Seniors for Seniors - If you are 65 or older and adopt a dog or cat over the age of 7 years, the adoption is free!
ABOUT DAPHNE: Hi, I'm Daphne. If I could have any career, it would probably be as a doggy model. Everyone oohs and ahhs over my gorgeous red coat, beautiful amber eyes, adorable pink nose, and stoic expression. I was rescued from a cruelty case in October of 2019 and was SO SHY at first, but have made great strides and make progress in little ways every day. FOSTER TESTIMONIAL: "Daphne is so low maintenance and she is gentle and sweet. We haven't had any issues with accidents inside and she gets along great with my dogs!" She also reported that I do well when left alone. LIKES: My favorite treats are canned chicken and hot dogs! I enjoy looking out the window and watching the world go by, but my favorite thing to do is play with other dogs.IDEAL HOME: I need a calm and quiet environment and require a home with a securely fenced yard. Walking on leash in the neighborhood still makes me nervous. Please bring everyone in the household to meet me. DOGS: Absolutely yes! Having another friendly dog in the home is a requirement. I get along with calm, independent dogs, but I really love playing with puppies. KIDS: No, thank you. Adults Only for me, please.COPY/PASTE this link into your browser to see more cute photos/videos of Daphne: https://bit.ly/2UDlOrfAPPOINTMENT TYPE: Scheduled. ABOUT ME: I'm Rose! I came into the SPCA as a very shy girl but just like a real flower, with some time and love I have started to blossom into a confident pup! Although I can still get a bit nervous around new friends, I love to hang out with people and even let my best friends cuddle and pet me! My favorite hobbies include watching movies with people on the couch, playing with toys, and enjoying the sunshine. DOGS: I would love to have some doggie siblings that are on the calmer side, like me! KIDS: I'd prefer a home with older kids that respect my boundaries and wait for me to open up to them.FOSTER TESTIMONIAL: "I loved seeing Rose's personality come out. She's such a sweet, silly girl. She's so curious about the world, and watching her gain the confidence to explore it more has been so fun. She gets along well with my dog and seeing her learn what kind of affection she likes to receive has been a treat." APPOINTMENT TYPE: Scheduled - I am in a foster home, please fill out an adoption application to get in touch with them and meet me!Please copy/paste this link to your browser to see more photos: https://bit.ly/3m5lltr
ABOUT ME: My name is Heaven, and I'm a sweet angel who has not had the best start in life- I came from a cruelty case with a litter of pups and was scared of the world at first. Thankfully, I found myself a loving foster mom who has helped me work on my confidence! Now I'm ready for the next big step- finding my forever home. PERSONALITY: My foster mom describes me as a gentle, sweet, and silly girl who loves to be pet once you've gained my trust! I am also an absolute angel and am not destructive when left alone - I mostly just take naps and enjoy looking out the window. My foster mom says that while I am skill skittish with loud noises, I'm making more progress every single day. I'm dying to be loved! FOSTER TESTIMONIAL: "To see Heaven come out of her shell is the most rewarding and BEST part of fostering her! She does a happy dance every time I enter the room as she is so excited to see me. Once she trusts you, she will love you with all of her heart!"DOGS: Because of my fearful nature, I require another dog in the home to help me come out of my shell! Please bring potential doggy siblings to meet me too! I'd love a calm dog in my new home - I'm not a fan of hyper doggos.CATS: I am very respectful of the kitties in my foster home! HOME REQUIREMENTS: I'd love a calm, quiet home with lots of fluffy places to lay on - like clouds! I will also need a home with a securely fenced-in yard since I still get a bit spooked going outdoors.KIDS: Although tiny kids are adorable, I'm looking for a home with kiddos 15+. Please bring the whole family to meet me!COPY/PASTE this URL to see more cute photos of me: https://bit.ly/35qjW7uAPPOINTMENT NOTICE: I am in a foster home so please complete an online application if you'd like to meet me!
Winston is a gorgeous boy with a smile as big as his heart! He is a quiet and thoughtful pup who, once he gets to know you, will cuddle with you and enjoy a soft spot to chew on a bone. He is looking for a caring and compassionate home that will help him continue to build his confidence and understand he is a bit shy when meeting new people. So if you're looking for a sweet boy, who would love a four-legged sibling, is a well-behaved fellow that loves to run around with friendly dogs in your securely fenced backyard, and doesn't even mind cats, then Winston is your perfect match! He is looking for a home where he can love his lucky new family furever!Kids: I'd do best in a home with older kids 12+.COPY/PASTE this URL to see more cute photos of me: https://bit.ly/2OHgdgrAPPOINTMENT TYPE: Scheduled- please fill out an online application to meet me!
Meet Kitten, the handsome senior cat with a serious love for food! Now, don't let his name fool you. Kitten may sound small and delicate, but he's a big boy with a big appetite. He's not picky either, he'll devour just about anything you put in front of him (as long as it's suitable for his diabetic diet, of course).Speaking of his diabetes, Kitten may need a little extra TLC in that department. But don't worry, he's a pro at taking his medication and monitoring his blood sugar levels- his friends at the SPCA will show you how easy his care is, so don't be intimidated! And when it comes to mealtime, he'll remind you with a cute little meow that it's time to chow down.Kitten is a lovable guy who just wants to be loved and have a few boxes to play in. He is a fancy fella who loves to dress up in sweaters, bowties, or whatever charming clothes you have on hand. Overall, Kitten is a lovable guy who just wants to be loved and fed. If you're looking for a furry companion who will keep you on your toes (and in the kitchen), Kitten is your guy! Come meet him today and see for yourself why he's the king of cuisine.Special Note: Kitten is available for foster to adopt, so you can foster him for a bit and get used to his medical routine before finalizing his adoption. We also have Seniors for Seniors - If you are 65 or older and adopt a dog or cat over the age of 7 years, the adoption is free!
About me: Hi Everyone! I'm Peanut and I'm a bionic dog! Both of my knees were injured when I came to the SPCA, but they gave me new ones so now I'm a brand new man! I have mastered sit and stay, and look forward to my forever family teaching me new tricks!Dogs: I LOVE making friends! But, like I said, I'm absolutely FULL of energy and can come on a little strong. It would be a really good idea to bring anyone you have at home to meet me.Kids: I'm a pretty excitable guy, so I'm looking for a home without kids under 12.
