Randy E. Pruett has enjoyed a distinguished career spanning more than four decades in public relations, crisis communications, brand strategy, media relations and event management. He retired as Senior Vice President of Cooksey Communications, a Texas-based marketing and public relations firm, after serving clients across commercial real estate, hospitality, professional services, energy, government, transportation and nonprofit sectors.

A dedicated community leader, Randy has raised funds and served on 18 boards. His leadership and lifelong service were recognized with the first-ever Lifetime Achievement Award from the Miss Texas Scholarship Organization. An Accredited Business Communicator, Certified Association Executive and FEMA-Certified Crisis Communications and Public Information Professional, Randy has been named “Dallas’ Communicator of the Year” and earned a regional Emmy Award from the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.

A competitive cook, avid blogger and passionate art collector, Randy lives in Dallas with his three rescued dogs, Simon, a 15-year-old Yorkshire Terrier; Murphy, a 10-year-old West Highland Terrier; and Buddy, a three-year-old Yorkshire Terrier.
