Randy E. Pruett has enjoyed a distinguished career in public relations, crisis communications, brand management, media relations and event management. He retired as Senior Vice President of Cooksey Communications, a Texas-based marketing and public relations firm. For more than 40 years, he’s served clients in commercial real estate, professional services, energy, government, transportation and the nonprofit industry. His commitment to the community and leadership is evidenced by his fundraising and service on more than 15 boards. Randy was recently honored with the first-ever lifetime achievement award presented by the Miss Texas Scholarship Organization. A competitive cook, avid blogger and passionate art collector, he’s also an Accredited Business Communicator and a Certified Association Executive. He has been honored as “Dallas Communicator of the Year” and received a regional Emmy Award from the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences for scriptwriting.
