Tomorrow: Support the SPCA of Texas on North Texas Giving Day

WHAT: The SPCA of Texas is asking for your support on the 13th annual North Texas Giving Day, which takes place tomorrow, September 23, 2021. Every year, the people of North Texas come together to help thousands of local non-profits for North Texas Giving Day, including the SPCA of Texas.

The SPCA of Texas’ fundraising goal is $200,000 for North Texas Giving Day. Thanks to generous donors, donations made to the SPCA of Texas on North Texas Giving Day will be matched dollar for dollar up to $100,000, making each gift go twice as far to make a difference in the lives of animals.

WHY: “Each year, individual donors make it possible for the SPCA of Texas to rescue, heal and find homes for thousands of animals. Whether the animal comes in from a cruelty case or is rescued from a disaster like Hurricane Ida, the care of each pet costs more than $800,” said Amanda Rainey, VP of Development for the SPCA of Texas, “By donating, the North Texas community allows us to help animals get the medical and behavioral care they need to find a loving home. Whether it’s $10 or $1,000, every dollar provides care for a vulnerable animal in need.”
