Handsome Sunny entered the SPCA of Texas as a stray in late April. Since then, we’ve gotten him to a healthy weight. He enjoys casual walks with lots of sniffing followed by some chin and ear rubs. This fairy easy-going guy has stage 3 heartworms and will be getting his final 2 injections in late September. Following those injections, he will need to be on restricted exercise (couch patrol) for 30-45 days. We would love for him to recover in a foster home on a soft dog bed than in the shelter environment.
Able to help? Email email@example.com. He is estimated to be 4.5yrs old and weighs approximately 75lbs. We can coordinate a meet and greet with any resident dogs and children in your home to help with introductions.
