Meet Donut, a handsome 1-year-old, 46 lb tan pup who was found as a stray and has been patiently waiting for his forever home.
Donut is currently recovering from a partial CCL tear and is healing wonderfully! He is walking well, showing no signs of pain, and just needs to continue with leash walks while he recovers. Unfortunately, the shelter environment is becoming stressful for him. He is showing high kennel stress with repetitive barking and frustration, making it difficult for him to relax and heal.
Outside of the kennel, Donut is a friendly, social boy with a loose body, wagging tail, and neutral ears. He enjoys greeting other dogs, tolerates introductions well, and loves exploring the yard. He’s ready for a quiet place where he can decompress, continue healing, and show off what a sweet companion he truly is.
