WHAT: A Halloween-themed, family-fun afternoon full of hay rides, activities for kids and equine interaction is coming to the SPCA of Texas’ Russell H. Perry Equine/Livestock Center this Saturday, October 30 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., hosted by the organization’s Equine & Livestock department.
Families can go on hayrides and snap some fall-themed pics at a photo station, and children will enjoy face painting, games, a photo station, showing off their costumes and so much more! People of all ages will enjoy meeting some of the SPCA of Texas’ horses and other livestock animals at this fun event.
The SPCA of Texas’ Russell H. Perry Equine/Livestock Center features only equine and livestock and the organization asks that all family pets remain at home with the exception of service animals. The SPCA of Texas encourages families looking to adopt a dog or cat to visit spca.org/findapet to view all adoptable pets and learn about their locations.
WHEN: Saturday, October 30, 2021 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
WHERE: SPCA of Texas’ Russell H. Perry Equine/Livestock Center 8411 Stacy Road McKinney, TX 75070
HOW: Wristbands, which cover all activities at the event, are $20 per child.
WHY: The SPCA of Texas aims to raise awareness of its Equine & Livestock department by inviting the community to visit and interact with animals. The SPCA of Texas intakes horses and other livestock animals from cruelty cases, owner surrenders and transfers, then trains and rehabilitates these animals before working to find them new homes.
