Sergeant Pepper came to the SPCA very shy and nervous with new people. After being here a few weeks, he showed steady improvement and gained some confidence. he was making new friends all the time! Now that its been a few months since Sergeant Pepper has been here his progress is starting to deteriorate. He has had trouble walking on a leash through all the commotion in the shelter. We are sure that if he were to get some time in a foster home that he will go right back to improving to be even better than before! He needs someone to help him STAT!
Sergeant Pepper is a little shy so he would do best in a quiet and calm home. He would do well in a house with a yard or even a lower floor apartment! Sergeant Pepper can make doggie friends easily so he is a great option if your looking for a companion for your pup!
If you can help and foster Sergeant Pepper, email FOSTER@SPCA.ORG! Also, he would do well on Borrow-A-Buddy outings that let him spend some time away from the shelter and get him some novel socialization time!
