Rongo may be a shy boy but he is ready to learn the comforts of a home! He was a bit avoidant of people when he first came to the SPCA of Texas but now he likes gentle pets and treats from calm friends! Rongo is starting to get over being in the shelter and is now acting very overstimulated! He is biting the kennel bars to try to relive some of his anxiety but he could accidentally hurt himself! Rongo needs to get away from the shelter soon!
Rongo would do best in a quiet home that give him some time and space to learn how to be a dog. He can walk on leash but is still pretty new to it so he would love a house with a yard or a first floor apartment! Another dog on the home may be nice but no young children please!
If you can help Rongo spend time away from the shelter, email FOSTER@SPCA.ORG today!
