Pinto is a gentle soul with a heart full of promise. He’s shy and sensitive, but there’s a quiet sweetness to him that shines through when he feels safe. With a calm, patient adult and a confident dog friend by his side, Pinto starts to believe that people can be kind and the world isn’t so scary after all.
But right now, Pinto is really struggling in the shelter. The noise, the chaos—it’s just too much for a dog like him. The stress is starting to affect his well-being, and he’s now on the urgent list due to quality-of-life concerns. He needs a soft place to land, somewhere quiet where he can decompress and just be for a while.
Pinto may not be a lap dog just yet, but with time and love, we know he’ll blossom. If you can offer this sweet boy a temporary foster home—even for just a few days—it could change everything for him.
If you can help Pinto get out of the shelter and back on his paws for a few days or longer, email FOSTER@SPCA.ORG today.
