Balto is a young, playful pup with a heart full of love—but the shelter is starting to wear him down. This high-energy adventurer is showing signs of stress, especially when left alone or meeting new people, and we’re worried about his quality of life if he stays much longer.
Balto is a good pup, he just needs a calm, patient foster home where he can decompress and show his true self. Right now, the shelter is too overwhelming, and he’s struggling to settle. A foster home would give him the stability he needs to work through his separation anxiety and get back to being the fun-loving dog we know he is.
He enjoys other dogs and would thrive with someone who can give him structure, outlets for his energy, and lots of love. Think zoomies, cuddles, and a whole lot of personality.
If you can foster Balto for even a few days, please email FOSTER@SPCA.ORG — this sweet boy just needs a chance to catch his breath.
