What Do You Like Most About Fostering

“What do you like most about fostering?”

That’s a question we recently posed to our Foster Heroes. These incredible people open their hearts and their homes to animals in need for days, weeks, even years at a time! Here’s what they had to say in response to our inquiry:

“Teaching my kids and the kids in our neighborhood why fostering matters.”

“Watching my foster dog sleep peacefully in a little ball in the corner of the couch knowing he is safe and comfortable.”

“I love that look of happiness in their eyes when they live with me, knowing they are loved and cared for. Helping them discover their true character and find the loving family I know is out their for them.”

“Getting to see the look in their eyes when they finally understand that they are safe and loved, then playing a role in finding a forever family that will do the same!”

“Watching my foster come out of her shell. The moment she gives you that look of trust for the very first time, it is a beautiful thing.”

“The endless love and acceptance they give, no matter how bad of a circumstance they come from.”

“Watching the joy replace the fear. It is such a blessing.”

“Their smiling faces!”

“Knowing I made an impact on this animals life and showed them what love is and how it feels to be loved unconditionally. Especially animals that come from a bad background, like my Janie, it makes my heart melt just seeing her tail wag when I walk through the door cause I know she knows she is loved!”
