If any dogs test positive for Canine Distemper Virus (CDV) at the shelter, we are immediately isolating them at our medical teams counsel and attempting to get them into a foster home. Since distemper positive dogs can shed the virus to other dogs for up to 3 months, they need to be isolated for that entire period or they pose a risk to other dogs at the shelter.

Bella is a 2-year-old American Bulldog mix with a passion for snuggles! This squishy, cuddly, 80-lb lady lost her home in a house fire and is now on the lookout for a new forever home. She loves holding paws, belly rubs, playing with toys and going on walks.
This sweet girl is looking for a home with older teens and adults, and a fenced-in yard. Despite her rather large size, Bella can jump pretty high so she’ll need at least a 6-foot fence. Bella would like to be the only dog in the home so she can get all of the snuggles and attention to herself!
