We are in search of “unicorn” adopters! What’s a unicorn, you might ask? Unicorn adopters are folks who are the uniquely perfect fit for some of our pets needing that special someone to take them home. From now until National Pet Parent Day on April 25, adoptions on adult animals 6 months and older will be 50% off at our shelters in Dallas and McKinney.
We want to find homes for 100 of our animals that are looking for these “unicorn” adopters by Pet Parent Day, and we need your help to make it happen! Most of these pets come from animal cruelty situations, meaning that they all have unique needs behaviorally and medically. Many of them are shy and unsure around new people, some need to be your one and only four-legged friend and others prefer to live with grown-ups or need to live in a home with a fenced-in yard. Some need all of the above, because we are dedicated to setting each and every one of our animals up for success in their new home.
If you think you might be a unicorn, or you know one, please help us give an animal a second chance at life in a home of their very own! To see all of our adoptable pets, please visit spca.org/adopt.
