SPCA of Texas Announces Fur Ball 2022 Event Chairs

Gala to Take Place on Saturday, October 1

(DALLAS, TX); June 23, 2022 – The SPCA of Texas is thrilled to announce that Fur Ball 2022 is sure to be a tail-wagging success thanks to Chairs Dhruva and Hiren Patel. The Patels, along with Live Auction Chair Cindy Lindsley, Table Host Chair Rebecca Marabito and the planning committee are dedicated to celebrating the SPCA of Texas’ important mission to provide every animal with exceptional care and a loving home. The event will be held on Saturday, October 1 starting at 6:30 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency Dallas.

“From our very first involvement with the SPCA of Texas in 2016, we have been motivated by the incredible happiness that the SPCA of Texas brings into the lives of the animals we serve and the families whose lives are made whole by the companionship they find with our help,” said Dhruva and Hiren. “As supporters we have the power to improve animals’ lives every single day thanks to the support we receive from caring people in our community.”

The black tie evening will feature mission-focused stories and gratitude with a focus on raising important funds for the SPCA of Texas in support of the organization’s critical work in the North Texas community. Guests will enjoy a silent auction packed with fabulous items, seated dinner, the always-exciting Pony Up for Paws and entertainment and dancing by The Roof Raisers. The Emcee for the evening is Brian Curtis, NBC 5 News Anchor, and the auctioneer is nationally acclaimed auctioneer Grant Snyder.

Fur Ball is DFW’s salute to the bond between people and their pets. Every year, the SPCA of Texas rescues thousands of animals from cruelty and neglect. The annual Fur Ball Gala is an opportunity to celebrate these success stories, while raising more than $500,000 to help even more pets go from homeless to happily ever after. All money raised through Fur Ball 2022 will go directly to the SPCA of Texas to help rescue, heal and find homes for thousands of animals and help keep pets in homes, out of shelters and off the streets.
