Borrow a Buddy said: Pip was a treat to spend the morning with! He was a little timid leaving the shelter but thrived as soon as he got out of the car . He spent the afternoon at a dog store and loved sniffing all the new smells, greeting new friends (he was besties with every adult and child he encountered) and even let us give him a mini bath. Afterwards, he spent several hours snuggling up on my couch and was as happy and content as could be! He didn't have any accidents and also, despite his age, was very calm and laid back all day, Pip was a perfect house guest and would be the perfect addition to any family!

Hi there, I'm Patches. I'm 4 years old, which basically means I've graduated from the chaotic puppy phase and earned my degree in "Certified Good Dog." I still love to play, but I also really understand the value of a good nap. My ideal home? Somewhere I can feel safe, loved, and included. Borrow a Buddy Said: Patches was thrilled to go for a run/walk and feel the cool breeze at White Rock Lake. We walked several miles, sat down for a picnic, and enjoyed a treat together. He was very polite to all the people we met throughout the day. After some initial excitement at the park, he eventually settled into walking comfortably beside me on the leash. Patches would be a great companion to explore the world with!
