Thankful Thursday: Masking Up Our Animal Welfare Community!

Our volunteers truly know how to make a difference – and the Anderson family has gone above and beyond for us during this unpredictable time. The family, who are all long-time SPCA of Texas volunteers, decided at the beginning of COVID-19 to make masks for people and they gave them away free of charge. They only asked that the person make a donation to the SPCA of Texas, either a monetary gift or an in-kind donation from our Amazon Wish List.

We can’t thank them enough for their support – it means everything to us and to the animals! To-date they have given away over 3,100 masks – and counting! Volunteers like the Andersons cannot be stopped from helping during these trying times. We couldn’t be more grateful to all of our volunteers for continuing to support us through thick and thin!
