HOST AN ADOPTION EVENT

Bring our Mobile Adoption Vehicle to your location.

Show your support for the animals of your community while providing a fun experience for your customers, employees or event participants. The SPCA of Texas has a self-contained, professionally staffed Mobile Adoptions vehicle that will come out to your location with adoptable dogs, puppies and/or kittens. All pets are up to date on vaccinations and ready to go home that day!

What sponsoring an adoption event includes.

Sponsorship benefits.

  • Mobile adoption vehicle on-site (3 hours max). Based on availability of adoptable animals.
  • Use of SPCA of Texas’ digital toolkit including brand and social media assets.
  • SPCA of Texas will participate as co-host of your Facebook Live event. Event will then show up in our newsfeed. The sponsor agrees to create the event page and is responsible for sending an invitation to the SPCA of Texas at least seven (7) days before the event.
  • Event will be listed on the SPCA of Texas adoption events calendar online.
  • Event will be listed the SPCA of Texas website at spca.org.
  • Post-event recap and “thank you” graphic on the Facebook event page, posted on the 1st business day after the event.

Your donation.

$2,500 for an event on Friday, Saturday or Sunday. Your donation helps to offset costs for SPCA of Texas staff time, supplies, etc., plus supports our mission.

Mobile adoption vehicle event guidelines.

The following guidelines help an ensure a successful event for you, for SPCA of Texas and, most importantly, our adoptable animals.

A minimum of four (4) weeks advance notice is preferred to provide sufficient time for the review/approval process, planning and promotion. This also helps ensure the availability of a Mobile Adoption Vehicle, which cannot be scheduled in conflict with other SPCA of Texas events or exclusive community partners. We reserve the right to decline requests based on these or other criteria.

SPCA of Texas will provide graphic files and a brand style guide for your use when your application is approved. All materials promoting an SPCA of Texas Mobile Adoption Event must follow these guidelines and be approved by the SPCA of Texas, including but not limited to emails, flyers, invitations, press releases and posters. Please allow seven (7) business days for approval before being printed, distributed, or publicized in any way.

  • Our staff can provide advice and guidance, but please remember the community partner is responsible for handling the organizational and administrative aspects of the fundraising/adoption event.
  • The community partner/the event host will be responsible for all licensing or permit requirements mandated by the state or local government.
  • To protect the community partner and the SPCA of Texas, it may be necessary for the community partner to provide a certificate of insurance naming the SPCA of Texas as an additional insured.
  • Your $2,500 sponsorship of a Mobile Adoption Event helps cover the costs of our staff time, supplies, etc, plus our ongoing mission for animals. Sponsorship payments should be made by check payable to the SPCA of Texas within thirty (30) days of the event and mailed to: SPCA of Texas, Attn: Victoria Albrecht, 2400 Lone Star Dr., Dallas, TX 75212. A tax-deductible donation acknowledgement letter will be issued after the donation has been processed.
