ABOUT ME: How 'bout dem WRINKLES?! If you like a smooshy face and pouty lip, I'm your gal! Bella is the name and I'm a bundle of fun. I love toys and treats, playing in water, and running zoomies around the yard. I came from a severe cruelty case back in 2018 - it took a long time for me to heal physically and emotionally. Staff has given me a lot of attention and love to help me learn how to be my best self, but I'm ready to leave the shelter and have a home of my own. I spend lots of office time with staff and am a pretty good girl who knows how to entertain myself and relax. I even know Sit. I greet my friends with full body wiggles - I can hardly contain my joy!HOME NEEDS: I require a house with a private, securely fenced yard. A quiet home with fewer visitors would be best.KIDS: Adults Only, please. Bring everyone in the household to meet me!DOGS/CATS: No thanks, I'd like to be the only pet in the home. SPECIAL NOTE: Potential adopters get to foster-to-adopt to make sure we're a good match! The SPCA of Texas will provide behavioral and medical support during the trial period to help ensure a smoother transition from shelter to home. APPOINTMENT TYPE: Scheduled. Fill out an online application to meet me!
ABOUT APOLLO: And the award for "Best in Ears" goes to...Apollo! Apollo came to SPCA of Texas as part of a cruelty case in February 2019. He had a long journey to recovery, but with patience, love, and an awesome foster dad, Apollo has flourished into the goofy, loyal pup you see today!PERSONALITY: Apollo is a very charismatic guy and never forgets his friends. Once he's your bud, he loves you and is even willing to share his snacks or toys with you. LIKES: Apollo loves treats (even vegetables!), sunbathing, belly rubs, chasing squirrels, entertaining himself with toys, watching sports on TV, sleeping in all kinds of silly positions, and cuddling for nap time! SKILLS: Looking for a dog with great house manners? Apollo is house trained, does well when left alone, is non-destructive, knows how to entertain himself, and is a generally quiet and chill dude! IDEAL HOME: Apollo is looking for a home where he can be the only pet in the home - he wants his family all to himself! Apollo's home should have a private, securely fenced backyard. KIDS: I'd like my home to be 13+ and I need to meet kids 13-16 before going home.NOTE: I'm available for foster-to-adopt.Please copy/paste this link to your browser to see more photos/videos of Apollo: https://bit.ly/3AbwJYoAPPOINTMENT TYPE: Scheduled. ABOUT ME: I'm a pretty sweet guy once I get comfortable! My favorite thing is to play with other dogs, maybe a little too much, and nuzzle you for pets. Once I get to know you I become a completely different dog and show how confident I can truly be!FOSTER TESTIMONIAL: "He is so loving. He may need to learn some trust at first, but he has it in him to be a great boy. His tails wags faster than I've ever seen another dog wag. If he is feeling the love, he comes up to you with his turbo-tail and it is adorable because you know he is so excited."DREAM HOME: I will need a house with a securely fenced-in yard where I can keep working on my leash confidence. I also want to meet everyone in the household before coming home. DOGS: Yes please! I will require another friendly dog in the home to serve as my companion and role model. KIDS: The little kids may be too much for me. 12+ please!COPY/PASTE to view more pictures of me: https://bit.ly/3vZGectSPECIAL NOTE: You get to take me on a test drive through a trial adoption!APPOINTMENT NOTICE: I am in a foster home so please complete an online application if you'd like to meet me!
ABOUT ME: I was rescued by the SPCA of Texas and was a bit weary of new friends at first, so it has taken the behavior team a long time to show me that life with humans is okay. I've been showing interest in new people even though I am scared and I'm constantly improving on my leash walking. I love snacks and I hope my new family is ready to bribe me with lots of tasty treats!MY HOME: A calm, quiet household with humans 15 and up. My home should have a securely fenced yard with at least 6-foot privacy fencing. I'll need to meet everyone in the home before I leave!DOGS: Bring them to meet me!APPOINTMENT TYPE: No appointment needed. Come and meet me any day between 12PM-6PM! You can also foster to adopt me as well.
ABOUT ME: Yes, I'm fancy... just like my name! You'll clearly notice my gorgeous blue eyes first - maybe I'm a "designer" dog after all! I came to the SPCA in October of 2019 from a hoarding case along with 42 other animals and I was the largest dog in the bunch! I was pretty shut down when I arrived, but now I've spent over a year in my foster home and have come a long way!PERSONALITY: I am really relaxed, and I love laying on my bed A LOT. I am a bit shy, but being in a foster home has definitely helped me learn how to "dog". My foster parent says that I'm pretty low maintenance and absolutely the sweetest dog - I don't really bark and have fun just laying and chewing on a toy. Whenever I see my favorite humans, I just can't stop wagging my tail in excitement! Although I don't walk on a leash, I go outside to do my business and am completely house trained in my foster home.KIDS: They're adorable, but I require a home with kids over the age of 12. Please bring kids ages 12-17 to meet me!DOGS: Sure, please bring them to meet me! I live with two other dogs in my foster home and appreciate that they give me space and let me do my own thing. A smaller dog or another chill dog like me would be fine or I could be happy soaking up all your attention for myself!CATS: I do well with the kitty in my foster home!HOME NEEDS: I am looking for a calm, quiet household. Also, I'm still working on my leash walking skills, so I'll need a house with a securely fenced-in back yard. I love to sun bathe!SPECIAL NOTE: Potential adopters get to take me out for a trial adoption to make sure we're a perfect fit! The SPCA of Texas will provide all medical and behavioral support to ensure a smooth transition.COPY/PASTE this link into your browser for more pictures of me: https://bit.ly/3jCI7pV
About Me: Hi there, my name is Cona and I came to the SPCA of Texas in October of 2019 with 42 of my Chihuahua-type friends and some chickens! I struggled with skin issues for a long time and that's finally settled, although I may look naked for a long time... maybe always? The next hurdle is losing some of this weight! I've spent time in a foster home and I occasionally ask them for pets or snuggles - it's always on my terms. Otherwise, I'm a really low maintenance and easy dog. I never bark, do fine when left alone, and go to the bathroom outside or will use pee pads if available. I love to sunbathe even though that means my foster parents have to spray doggy sunscreen on me first - yuck!HOME NEEDS: I need a calm, quiet home with a securely fenced yard. I'm still working on getting comfortable on leash and loud sounds make me nervous.DOGS: While I'm not a dog that actively tries to engage other dogs, I can peacefully coexist with calm doggos.KIDS: Adults Only, please.NOTE: I'm available for foster-to-adopt,so that the SPCA of Texas can provide medical and behavior support while I settle into a new home!COPY/PASTE for more cute pictures/videos of me: https://bit.ly/3wC66KlAPPOINTMENT TYPE: Scheduled. ABOUT DAPHNE: Hi, I'm Daphne. If I could have any career, it would probably be as a doggy model. Everyone oohs and ahhs over my gorgeous red coat, beautiful amber eyes, adorable pink nose, and stoic expression. I was rescued from a cruelty case in October of 2019 and was SO SHY at first, but have made great strides and make progress in little ways every day. FOSTER TESTIMONIAL: "Daphne is so low maintenance and she is gentle and sweet. We haven't had any issues with accidents inside and she gets along great with my dogs!" She also reported that I do well when left alone. LIKES: My favorite treats are canned chicken and hot dogs! I enjoy looking out the window and watching the world go by, but my favorite thing to do is play with other dogs.IDEAL HOME: I need a calm and quiet environment and require a home with a securely fenced yard. Walking on leash in the neighborhood still makes me nervous. Please bring everyone in the household to meet me. DOGS: Absolutely yes! Having another friendly dog in the home is a requirement. I get along with calm, independent dogs, but I really love playing with puppies. KIDS: No, thank you. Adults Only for me, please.COPY/PASTE this link into your browser to see more cute photos/videos of Daphne: https://bit.ly/2UDlOrfAPPOINTMENT TYPE: Scheduled. ABOUT ME: My name is Rhino and I came to the SPCA in November of 2019 from a cruelty case with 10 other animals. When I first came in I had no hair and was very skinny, but the nice people here have helped me grow so much and I look like a completely different dog. I'm now just looking for a family who is ready to play with me. Because I missed my puppy years I'm now making up for it with an active personality!! FOSTER TESTIMONIAL: He is so loving and playful, like a child. He loves snuggling and will lay on you if you ask. It's so fun to see him do zoomies around the yard and he loves hanging out with everyone outside and playing fetch. He is also incredibly smart - we have taught him 5 tricks so far including rollover! The others are sit, stay, down, off, crate, and paw.MY DREAM HOME: I'd love a house with a yard so that I have a way to get my energy out, but I've been living in an apartment with my fosters and am doing great! Having another playful pup in the home who is similar in size would be awesome too!KIDS: Nah, I am all the excitement you will need!To view more photos and videos of me, copy/paste the following URL into your browser: https://bit.ly/30P1VxHSPECIAL NOTE: Potential adopters get to take me on a test drive through foster to adopt!
