Dr. Barrett Jiranek is a veterinarian at VCA Lovers Lane Animal Hospital. He has practiced at this clinic since June of 1999. Dr. Jiranek has been involved in the veterinary industry since 1990. He attended Kansas State University for his undergraduate and graduate studies, completing his bachelor’s in Animal Science and Industry in May, 1997, followed by his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in May, 1999. After graduating from veterinary school, he moved to Dallas and joined Lovers Lane Animal Hospital.

Dr. Jiranek is a dedicated and experienced veterinarian with a passion for providing exceptional care for pets and their families. He believes in building strong relationships with both pets and their owners, offering personalized treatment plans that focus on health, comfort, and well-being of each animal. Whether it’s routine check-ups or specialized treatments, Dr. Jiranek strives to ensure that every pet receives the highest standard of care.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Jiranek enjoys cycling, mountain biking, and ice hockey. He is married,  has 3 children and two dogs to keep him busy. He is committed to continuing education to stay up to date with the latest advancements in veterinary medicine, compassionate care and professional expertise.
