Powder is a small silly boy who came into our care from a very severe hoarding case in February of 2023! Him and his 80 other siblings were super nervous of people but they all have come around. Powder has made close friends with staff at the SPCA of Texas and loves to play and get attention once he warms up to someone. Powder urgently needs a foster home since spending almost a year in the shelter has made him depressed and made it harder for him to get more socialized. If he stays at the shelter too long Powder may regress on all his progress and go back to being scared and lonely.
Powder would do best in a home with other small playful dogs and people who are patient with him. Powder can walk on leash but would love a backyard to run and play in too! He would do best with older children around 15 years old who know how to respect boundaries.
If you can help Powder by fostering please email FOSTER@SPCA.ORG.
