Get started serving at SPCA of Texas.

Get started volunteering.

All potential Court Appointed Community Service (CCS) workers must be at least 15 years of age. Court Appointed Community Service will take place at our Dallas locations only.

Ages 10-14 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who is at least 21 years old.

Because we work with a vulnerable population, we do not accept violent or sexual offenses. We accept offenses such as basic traffic tickets, DWI’s, minor in possession of alcohol, and some minor drug-related charges (on a case-by-case basis).

After your service hours have been completed, we would love for you to stay on as a volunteer!

To verify that your offense will be accepted before submitting the volunteer fee, please contact newvolunteer@spca.org or call 214-490-6360.
