Meet Beau, a handsome 2-year-old boy who arrived on 5/1 through our Adoption Candidate Program. Beau is a social, energetic dog who loves both people and other dogs! He greets dogs politely through the fence, enjoys playtime in the yard, and has shown loose, friendly body language during dog interactions. He’s always ready for fun and keeps himself busy exploring and playing.
Unfortunately, shelter life is starting to take a toll on Beau. His kennel stress has been increasing, and we’re beginning to see mouthy and redirected behaviors that weren’t present when he first arrived. This sweet, active boy is struggling with the confinement and overstimulation of the shelter environment.
Beau needs a foster or adopter who can give him the outlet, structure, and space he needs to decompress and be the amazing dog we know he is. The longer he remains in the shelter, the harder it becomes for him to cope.
