Meet Cindy! Cindy’s journey with us begins when she was found as a stary at large and she was intaken into our care. Cindy was so scared of human when she first arrived, she wasn’t able to be touched, not because she’s a bad dog but because she has never been able to trust people. Cindy has slowly made progress but is still so scared here in our care, and we can’t blame her. Our staff and volunteers here have noticed she is a very sweet girl even if she’s a bit timid, she leans in for petting and shows affiliative behavior toward handlers, interacting appropriately with novel staff, readily accepting high-value treats. What Cindy needs is a foster who can offer her a chance of love, patience and routine, if you can help Cindy even for a short time, please email foster@spca.org!
