Interested in rescuing a dog but want to make sure it’s the right fit before committing? We hear you, and that’s why we’re rolling out our new Test Drive adoption campaign! Instead of making a major life decision after just a few minutes with one of the dogs on our foster to adopt list, you can take them home for a couple of weeks to decide if it’s a perfect match!

As an animal shelter, we know how incredibly different animals behave once they are in the comfort of a loving home. It’s so much easier to determine whether a pet will fit into your lifestyle, habits and family dynamic once they’re hanging around your house.

Halley is such a different dog when she goes on weekend trips out of the shelter…take her home and see what a happy, playful pup she is when she’s in a home of her own!

It may take a few weeks to make a decision, or just a weekend! There’s no pressure to go through with the adoption – trust us, the dogs are just happy to get a break from the shelter environment! If it doesn’t work out, just think of it as a mini vacation you gave to a shelter dog. All we ask if you return them is to give us your insight into how the dog behaved in your home and what type of family they would fit into!

And the best part, there’s no need to shop for ANYTHING! While you’re taking the dog for a “test drive” we provide all the food and supplies!
