Baxter Needs You!

Baxter is beginning to show signs of kennel stress and really needs a foster home soon! Despite the stress, he remains a bright, happy boy who loves people and other dogs. In the catch pen, he greets everyone with his ears up and tail wagging, eagerly sprinting to the yard for playtime. He enjoys playing with other dogs—though his excitement can sometimes be a little much for calmer pups—and he’s always ready to make friends. When approached, Baxter’s body stays loose and wiggly, his tail wagging and ears forward. He’s incredibly affectionate, happily jumping and whining to say hello, taking treats gently, and soaking up pets. Baxter walks beautifully on leash with almost no pulling and stayed relaxed and friendly during light medical handling. This sweet, social boy just needs a calm, loving foster home to unwind and show off his wonderful personality—he’ll make an amazing companion to whoever gives him the chance!
