By nights, I am a Labor & Delivery nurse. When I’m not at work, I love to spend time with my family and niece. I also love to garden and do all things crafty!
Something that helped me was adopting out a foster to a friend that I went to visit a few months later, the previous foster treated me like a stranger & their owners as their people, and that’s when it really sank in all fosters need is for me to be a stepping stone in their journey to their forever family.

Philip is a medical student who enjoys soccer and yoga in his free time. Philip grew up with sheep, horses, cats, and goats- however, he didn’t have any pets until he started fostering. He began fostering with us as an Adoption Ambassador a year ago, before taking on fospice pup Athena.

Fostering brings a lot of joy to my life! Helping dogs find their forever home feels incredibly rewarding, and along the way I get to see a friendly furry face become a little more comfortable each day.
Connect to the SPCA of Texas foster community, and don’t be afraid to ask staff and the group for help. You’re not alone!
