Maximus is a one-year-old male mixed breed with a charming cow-pattern coat that makes him stand out — but his nervous energy often holds him back in meet-and-greets. He’s shy, unsure, and doesn’t always make the best first impression, even though he has so much potential beyond the shelter walls. Maximus is also heartworm positive and will need a calm, supportive environment to rest and recover. He’s in urgent need of a foster or adoption ambassador — someone who can give him a safe space and help him come out of his shell at his own pace. He just needs a chance.
