Loki is nervous, overwhelmed, and not settling in this stressful environment. He paces the fence line, barks, and struggles to relax, especially around other dogs. He tolerates greetings but isn’t ready to engage in play here—and who can blame him? The shelter isn’t where sensitive souls like Loki can truly shine.
Right now, he’s also battling CIRD (kennel cough) and needs a quiet place to rest and heal. Out of the shelter, Loki is a different dog—sweet, playful, and even knows his “sit”! He enjoys toys and just needs a calm, caring foster to help him feel safe again.
Can you open your heart and home to help Loki get out of the shelter? Please email foster@spca.org if you can foster—even short term.
All the doggone news? Cute cat pictures? Ways you can get involved? You bet.
