ABOUT DAPHNE: Hi, I'm Daphne. If I could have any career, it would probably be as a doggy model. Everyone oohs and ahhs over my gorgeous red coat, beautiful amber eyes, adorable pink nose, and stoic expression. I was rescued from a cruelty case in October of 2019 and was SO SHY at first, but have made great strides and make progress in little ways every day. We haven't had any issues with accidents inside and she gets along great with my dogs!" She also reported that I do well when left alone. LIKES: My favorite treats are canned chicken and hot dogs! I enjoy looking out the window and watching the world go by, but my favorite thing to do is play with other dogs.IDEAL HOME: I need a calm and quiet environment and require a home with a securely fenced yard. Walking on leash in the neighborhood still makes me nervous. Please bring everyone in the household to meet me. DOGS: Absolutely yes! Having another friendly dog in the home is a requirement. I get along with calm, independent dogs, but I really love playing with puppies. APPOINTMENT TYPE: Scheduled. I'm in a foster home, so please fill out an application to meet me!
Hi! My name is Winston and my Holiday wish is to be your furever bestfriend and find my furever family! My dream furever home would have another friendly and confident dog that I can play with in a fenced-in backyard and it would have a sunny spot for me to lay. I am a shy boy when I meet new people, so my dream furever family will help me continue to build my confidence and understand I am shy when I meet visitors. However, when I get to know you, I will be a pup who will want to cuddle with you and play with you in the backyard! I really like to chew on my Nylabones and deer antlers. I love my foster pup sisters, big and small, especially when we play chase. For some reason I'm not a fan of male dogs, so I consider myself a girl's best-furiend. I have been living in a foster home since January 2023 and have really blossomed from a shy boy that did not seek out attention into the active and sweet dog that was always inside of me, but I was too timid to let that part shine through. Here is my foster mom's testimonial: "When Winston first came into my home, he was very shutdown. He would not walk on a leash, would not get into my car, and would only leave his crate to go outside. But with patience and lots of treats, Winston has really flourished into the sweetest dog with the most soulful eyes. Now he will spend nearly all day out of his crate and will seek out attention from me and play time from his foster sisters. He is better at walking on leash and improving every day. He will jump into the car, and he is growing his confidence daily. He loves laying in the sun (even in the summer heat) and hunting for squirrels. He gets so excited when he sees someone he knows. He will get happy feet, wiggle his whole body, and run up to them and lean against their legs so they will pet him. He is housetrained and crate trained. He loves his crate and treats it like his room. He ignores my cats. And he is so gentle when he takes treats. He is such a sweet pup that deserves the perfect furever family!"If you're looking for a sweet boy, who would love a four-legged sibling, is a well-behaved fellow that loves to run around with friendly dogs in your securely fenced backyard, and doesn't even mind cats, then I am your perfect match! And for the Holidays I want a home where I can love my lucky new family furever!Kids: I'd do best in a home with older kids 12+COPY/PASTE this URL to see more cute photos of me: https://bit.ly/2OHgdgrAPPOINTMENT TYPE: Please fill out an online application since I am in a foster home!
Meet Kitten, the handsome senior cat with a serious love for food! Now, don't let his name fool you. Kitten may sound small and delicate, but he's a big boy with a big appetite. He's not picky either, he'll devour just about anything you put in front of him (as long as it's suitable for his diabetic diet, of course).Speaking of his diabetes, Kitten may need a little extra TLC in that department. But don't worry, he's a pro at taking his medication and monitoring his blood sugar levels- his friends at the SPCA will show you how easy his care is, so don't be intimidated! And when it comes to mealtime, he'll remind you with a cute little meow that it's time to chow down.Kitten is a lovable guy who just wants to be loved and have a few boxes to play in. He is a fancy fella who loves to dress up in sweaters, bowties, or whatever charming clothes you have on hand. Overall, Kitten is a lovable guy who just wants to be loved and fed. If you're looking for a furry companion who will keep you on your toes (and in the kitchen), Kitten is your guy! I'm always up for a run in the sun, especially if it involves my favorite stuffed toys, but when I've tired myself out, there's nothing I love more than curling up on my human friends' laps for some well-deserved cuddles. Who says I'm too big to be a lap dog?! I am a staff and volunteer favorite!FOSTER TESTIMONIAL: "Chance loaded in to car very easily before & after hike. He does pull on leash, but as he tired during the hike, he did better. I am looking for a family that will take me for lots of walks to help me work off some of my winter weight and offer lots of snuggles and toys too! Foster Testimony: One Eyed Jack got to go explore an outdoor patio where he lounged in the shade and spent time people watching. He was a little nervous being around so many people, but was polite to all. He never barked once. Jack got to go to Kidd Springs Park after, where he really loved laying in some water.
