The event benefits the Southern Dallas Initiative and the Mary Spencer Spay/Neuter and Veterinary Care Clinic at Village Fair, and will take place on June 21, 2022 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at The Rustic in Dallas. This casual, fun-filled evening is spearheaded by the SPCA of Texas’ Young Professionals and features wonderful food, libations, the Bone Appétit wine and restaurant gift card raffle and, of course, a chance to mingle with some furry friends.
Paws Cause 2022 will honor past event chairs who have worked so diligently over the last two and a half decades to make this event the tremendous success it has always been in assisting so many low-income pet owners with their pets’ needs.
The Mary Spencer Humanitarian Award will also be announced. Named for animal advocate extraordinaire, Mary Spencer, the award honors individuals and organizations that have made a significant difference in the lives of animals in North Texas.
