(DALLAS, TX); February 4, 2022 – The SPCA of Texas is excited to announce that Paws Cause, an event benefiting the Southern Dallas Initiative and the Mary Spencer Spay/Neuter and Veterinary Care Clinic at Village Fair, will take place on June 21, 2022 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at The Rustic in Dallas. For more information, and to place a “save the date” reminder on calendars, please visit www.pawscausedallas.com.
This casual, fun-filled evening is spearheaded by the SPCA of Texas’ Young Professionals and features wonderful food, libations, the Bone Appétit wine and dine pull and, of course, a chance to mingle with some furry friends.
Paws Cause 2022 will honor our past event chairs who have worked so diligently over the last two and a half decades to make this event the tremendous success it has always been in assisting so many low-income pet owners with their pets’ needs.
The Mary Spencer Humanitarian Award will also be announced. Named for animal advocate extraordinaire, Mary Spencer, the award honors individuals and organizations that have made a significant difference in the lives of animals in North Texas.
Paws Cause 2022 is sure to be a tail-wagging success thanks to Chairs Whitney Eichinger, Whitney Keltch Green and Sydnie Shimkus and the SPCA of Texas’ Young Professionals.
All proceeds from Paws Cause 2022 benefit the Southern Dallas Initiative and the Mary Spencer Spay/Neuter and Veterinary Care Clinic at Village Fair. The Southern Dallas Initiative and the Spencer Clinic provide much-needed care for pets in underserved areas, for free or at a low-cost, that families can afford. These services bring pets and their people closer together and allow the SPCA of Texas to partner with and give back to the community.
