Volunteer and make every day special for the animals in our shelters. Give your time and heart based on your schedule and interests.
Adopters wanted! We have lots of really great animals that need loving homes. From now until April 30, adoptions on adult cats and dogs 6 months and older are FREE at our shelters in Dallas and McKinney. Please visit spca.org/adopt to see our adoptable pets.
We’re closing our McKinney location and need to make room for the pets that are coming down to our Jan Rees-Jones Animal Care Center. We never euthanize for time spent in shelter or available space, so our only option is to find these animals homes!
So how does one adopt from the SPCA of Texas? All adoptions are by appointment only at this time in order to maintain a safe number of people in our facilities. Once you see a pet you wish to meet at spca.org/adopt, visit spca.org/catadopt or spca.org/dogadopt to fill out our Find Your Friend form. Within two days, you’ll hear back via email from our pet placement team with more details on the pet you wish to meet, and from there you’ll coordinate with them to schedule an appointment.
Spread the word and as always, thank you for choosing to adopt!
All the doggone news? Cute cat pictures? Ways you can get involved? You bet.
