Shadow is a sweet and curious girl who just needs a chance to shine outside of the shelter. At 40lbs, she’s the perfect size for snuggles and companionship, and once she gets to know you, her gentle nature truly comes through. However, life in the shelter is overwhelming for Shadow. The constant commotion has her feeling stressed, and she reacts when dogs and people walk by her kennel. However, if you take a moment to stop, kneel next to her, and speak softly, you’ll see how quickly she relaxes and finds comfort in your presence.
Shadow is awaiting medical treatment, and we urgently need to find her a foster home where she can feel safe and secure. Whether it’s for a few days or longer, fostering Shadow will give her the calm environment she needs to start feeling better.
