Peggy is a beautiful 5-year-old German Shepherd with a big heart and an even bigger zest for life. This energetic girl is bursting with love and devotion, just waiting to give it to the right person.
In a previous home, Peggy adores people and is a super friendly gal. She thrives on connection. Unfortunately, shelter life has been hard on her. The constant noise and activity have left her pacing and stressed — and we know this isn’t who Peggy truly is. Beneath the anxiety is a loyal, affectionate companion who simply needs the chance to decompress in a calm, loving home.
Peggy is also heartworm positive, which makes a quiet foster or adoptive home even more important while she receives care. What she needs most right now is stability, patience, and someone willing to let her exhale and show her true self.
