Cocoa Needs You!

Cococa is a 1-year-old female who is a genuinely good dog and is struggling with the stress of being back in the shelter after a home change. She lived successfully in a home for a full year, where she was described as friendly with everyone she met and a joy to have around. She has great leash manners and has shown that she knows how to settle and thrive in a home environment.

During a recent outing, Cococa was described as incredibly sweet, reinforcing what her previous family shared about her loving and social personality. Unfortunately, the shelter environment is taking a toll on her. The constant noise and confinement are causing her stress to increase each day, and her kennel presence does not reflect who she truly is.

Cococa needs a break from the shelter and a chance to get back into a home where she can relax and be herself again. She has already proven she can be a wonderful companion, and with a stable environment, she is likely to bounce back quickly. Cococa is ready for a fresh start and a family who can see past the kennel and give her the comfort and consistency she desperately needs.
