Nessie

Nessie is a 7yr heeler mix gal. She was found as a stray and has an old injury to her eye. She is on the surgery list to have that removed, but we need to make sure she is healthy before surgery.

While Nessie’s PCR test result was NEGATIVE, her antibody count was low. This makes her extra susceptible to contracting the distemper virus. We’d love to get her into a home where she can be safely isolated to ensure she does not contract distemper while in the shelter environment.
