Celebrate Your Best Friend at 2024 Fur Ball Gala Friday, October 4th

All it took was a tour of the SPCA of Texas Dallas Animal Care Center to convince Lawrence and me to chair the organization’s 2024 Fur Ball gala. We realized how comprehensive the services they provide are and knew it was a perfect fit for us.

We’ve always had a deep love and respect for animals, and we want to play a major role in raising funds to support the immensity of work that goes on at the SPCA of Texas.

From investigating and rescuing animals in abuse cases to providing medical and behavioral care, the SPCA of Texas takes our most vulnerable animals full circle making sure they get the help they need and find forever loving homes.

That’s why I’m thrilled to announce that Fur Ball 2024 will be Friday, October 4th from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. at the Frontiers of Flight Museum (6911 Lemmon Ave, 75209). Presented by Nancy C. and Richard R. Rogers, this year’s annual gala will focus on raising vital funds for the SPCA of Texas in support of the tireless work the organization does for animals and the community through over-the-top live and silent auctions packed with incredible items, a Paddle Raise, and so much more.

The theme of this year’s gala is “You’re My Best Friend,” celebrating all our furry friends. The SPCA of Texas also will feature adoptable pups for guests to meet and cuddle, and, hopefully adopt!

Live Auction Chair for the 2024 Fur Ball is Cindy Lindsley, who already has gathered outstanding travel packages for the live auction. Emcee for the evening will be NBC 5 News Anchor Brian Curtis, who is a strong advocate for animals.

Fur Ball is DFW’s salute to the bond between people and their pets and a celebration of the SPCA of Texas’ important mission to provide every animal with exceptional care and a loving home. All money raised through Fur Ball 2024 will go directly to the SPCA of Texas to help rescue, heal and find homes for thousands of animals and help keep pets in homes, out of shelters and off the streets. During this challenging time of extreme shelter overcrowding, the SPCA of Texas depends on its patrons’ generosity to continue to provide these essential services to our community’s most vulnerable pets and their people.

You’re My Best Friend will feature beautiful animals that have benefited from donor generosity; pets that have undergone stunning transformations and now live with loving families. The fun, yet elegant, affair will include cocktails, a silent auction, seated dinner and entertainment by Georgia Bridgwater Orchestra. Attire for the gala is chic and sophisticated cocktail.
