This past year was filled with moments that reminded us why this work matters, from animals rescued in crisis to families celebrating the joy of adoption, all made possible by the generosity of YOU. Every life saved and every success story we celebrate this year was fueled by your compassion and support. Thank you!

Because of donors like you, the SPCA of Texas was able to respond in urgent situations like the Kerr County operation, help thousands of pets find new homes and TLC through adoption and foster care, support families through the Russell H. Perry Pet Resource Center, and continue building toward the future through the Care Unleashed capital campaign and Cornerstone event. As we step into a new year, we are reflecting with gratitude on a season defined by compassion, action, and a community that never turned away from animals in need.

When Animals Needed Help Most
Because of donor support, the SPCA of Texas Animal Cruelty Investigations Unit responded to 459 cases of suspected cruelty and neglect, rescuing 846 animals from harm. Your generosity ensured these animals were not only removed from dangerous situations but also given the veterinary care, rehabilitation, and compassion they needed to begin healing.

Care, Healing, and New Beginnings
Throughout the year, your gifts helped care for 8,016 animals who came through our doors. Together, we celebrated 7,163 adoptions and transports to trusted partner shelters nationwide, expanding lifesaving reach far beyond North Texas. Donor support also made it possible to care for 3,222 pets in foster homes, perform 8,708 spay/neuter surgeries, and provide 8,770 wellness visits, strengthening the health of pets and the people who love them.

Your generosity also fueled the heart of our work: volunteers. In 2025, an average of 457 volunteers each month contributed an extraordinary 41,225 hours of service. Whether cleaning kennels, supporting events, or comforting animals in need, their dedication multiplied the impact of every dollar given.

Supporting Families
Through the Russell H. Perry Pet Resource Center, donor support helped distribute 139,756 pounds of pet food, easing financial strain for families and keeping pets where they belong: at home with the people who love them.

From Strut Your Mutt and Fur Ball to Home for the Holidays, your support helped make these events record-breaking successes. More than celebrations, these moments brought the community together around a shared belief: animals deserve care, dignity, and hope.
