A Closer Look: Martin

3-year-old Martin might be 57 pounds, but don’t tell him that – he thinks he was destined to be a lap dog. He loves to flop on top of his human friends at the shelter and enjoy being held in their arms. This big Pit Bull Terrier mix loves to do zoomies around the play yards until he’s totally tuckered out and ready for a nap. Martin is super smart and does a very impressive sit. What’s more, he can catch any treat out of the air – we think he might have been a center fielder in his past life.

Martin loves toys and sticks, and can often be seen trotting around with one in his mouth. He’d love a home with a fenced-in yard for his to run around in to his heart’s delight. Martin also wouldn’t mind a doggie sibling, as long as they’re about his size and love to be rambunctious at play time and run around in crazy circles in the yard with him. We recommend bringing pups to your meet-and-greet so we can see if they are a good match.
