This seven-year-old pit bull mix is the epitome of relaxation, earning her the title of “couch pit-ato.” China excels in the art of lounging and is a certified nap enthusiast. When she’s not snoozing, she’s busy snuggling with her human companions, making her the ultimate cuddle buddy.

China’s journey to her new family wasn’t without challenges. She came to the SPCA of Texas as a stray, and though she had a microchip, her previous owner hadn’t updated the information, making it impossible to reunite them. (A good reminder to keep your pet’s microchip info up to date!)

During her time at the SPCA of Texas, China quickly became a staff favorite. With her gentle nature, she won over everyone she met. She’s great on a leash, fully potty trained, and gets along well with other dogs. She’s so friendly that she even befriended a rabbit in one of her foster homes! Her foster parents described her as a “good girl with a great smile and a funny personality,” and her laid-back attitude always shined, even after being adopted and returned twice when things didn’t work out.

But as they say, the third time’s the charm! China has finally been adopted by a loving young family, and from the moment she joined them, it’s been a perfect match. Her new family is already head over heels, soaking up all the love and snuggles that China has to offer.
