Volunteers impact every aspect of an animal’s experience at the SPCA of Texas – feeding, cleaning, exercise, enrichment, adoption events and more! There’s no time commitment. Once you have completed orientation you can sign up and volunteer when it fits your schedule.
Volunteers in our Foster program provide animals with a comfortable, loving home while they await adoption, recover from medical procedures, grow from an infant to an adoptable age, or live their remaining days knowing love and support.

The SPCA of Texas offers age-appropriate volunteer opportunities for youth ages of 10 through 17, and families are welcome to volunteer their time together. We request that volunteers under the age of 15 bring a parent or guardian who is at least 21 years old to all volunteer shifts.
