We are proud to recognize Rosa Juarez as our January Volunteer of the Month!
Rosa has been an important member of the SPCA of Texas family for more than two years, contributing more than 300 hours of volunteer time. She has a true passion for animal welfare and is deeply dedicated to improving the lives of shelter pets. Whether she’s socializing shy animals, helping with adoption events, or cleaning pet kennels, Rosa tackles every task with kindness, patience and a positive attitude that inspires everyone around her.
“She has been here with us in adoptions, foster and most of all NorthPark Center adoption events!” wrote one nominator. “Rosa comes all the time, she stays late and helps with cleaning, adoption counseling and is just wonderful!! We appreciate her so, so much!”
Another nominator wrote, “Rosa has been a huge help at NorthPark Center adoptions and has volunteered many shifts. She treats the dogs and customers so kindly and always with a smile. Rosa is willing to do anything to help the pets get adopted and I know she helps all over the shelter, in other areas. She constantly looks at the schedule to see where help is needed then she shows up. I so appreciate her giving spirit and dedication to our pets and programs.”
“I am nominating Rosa Juarez as our volunteer of the month because she embodies our mission and values of teamwork, customer focus and commitment to our animals,” noted another nominator. “Recently, she jumped in to help any role needed including civic group support, NorthPark Center adoptions, and a Legacy Society event.
“Rosa is team-oriented through her willingness to support any area that needs help, even if it’s not the most glamorous or typical task of assisting with a beverage station at a donor event. Whenever Rosa volunteers she is kind, looks to solve problems, or to make things run more smoothly. She is a joy to be around. No matter where Rosa is helping, she works hard to make things go well to give animals their best chance at positive outcomes!”
Rosa’s selflessness, dedication and love for animals make her a shining example of what it means to be a volunteer. The SPCA of Texas is grateful for her hard work and the incredible impact she has made on both the animals and the people around her.
Every animal rescue organization thrives because of the compassionate and dedicated individuals who give their time, energy and hearts to helping animals in need. At the SPCA of Texas, volunteers are the backbone of our mission, ensuring that every animal receives the love and care they deserve while they await their loving homes. Thank you, Rosa, for giving so generously of your time and talent.
