DALLAS; WAXAHACHIE, TEXAS –- The SPCA of Texas is proud to announce its 2024 Board Chair, Executive Committee and three new board members, each of whom will help support the SPCA of Texas’ mission to provide every animal exceptional care and a loving home in 2024.
“We are excited to welcome three remarkable members to our board of directors,” said SPCA of Texas President and CEO Chris Luna. “Their diverse talents, expertise and interests will bring new perspectives to the SPCA of Texas, which will help lead us into this bright and successful new year.”
The SPCA of Texas Board Chair remains the same, Hiren Patel, Executive Director, Investments, Oppenheimer & Co. Inc.; as does the Vice Chair, Whitney Eichinger, Senior Vice President & Chief Communications Officer, Southwest Airlines Co.; Jonathan Kelly, Senior Vice President, Portfolio Manager, Bank of America, was elected Secretary; Courtey Nall, Global Learning Partner/Coach/Regional President, HBA Southwest Marketing & Communications was elected Treasurer; and SPCA of Texas President & CEO Chris Luna serves as an Ex-Officio member.
The new board officers and new board members were elected at the SPCA of Texas’ Board of Directors bi-monthly meeting that took place Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2023, at the SPCA of Texas’ Animal Care Center in Dallas. New SPCA of Texas Board Members include:
